Zelensky Asks Trump to Impose Sanctions on Russia and China Over Starlink Alternative - "Zarya."
Russia, with China's support, is accelerating the development of its own satellite network, "Zarya," which Moscow could use to control drones. This was reported by Vladimir Zelensky to the Financial Times.
According to him, China is assisting Russia with the necessary technologies, and the new system could become operational by the end of this year or early next year. Zelensky stated:
"I have repeatedly asked Donald Trump to impose sanctions on Russian and Chinese companies involved in its development."
Military expert Rob Lee believes that "Zarya" is unlikely to be as effective as Starlink, but it will allow for the transmission of video from drones to command centers and the control of strike drones.
