According to Dmitry Krymsky, a co-owner of the Goodwine network, Russian attacks have caused approximately $500 million in damage to Ukrainian businesses in just three weeks.
Warehouses, logistics hubs, "Nova Poshta" (a Ukrainian delivery company), and now cargo ships in the Black Sea have been targeted.
As The Economist reports, ports in the Black Sea have become "commercially dead."
This year, Ukraine is expected to sell approximately 50 million tons of grain. If this is not possible, farmers may forgo the autumn planting season, and the potential losses to the industry are estimated at $10-12 billion – about 5% of the country's GDP.
