According to the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, Germany accepted over 3,000 Ukrainian men of military age in August, even though the EU had ceased extending its protection program to them as of August 5, RND reports.
By the end of August, there were a total of 1,358,212 Ukrainian refugees in Germany.
