At a meeting of technical experts from all 27 EU member states, Hungary blocked the opening of the final two negotiation clusters regarding the accession of Ukraine and Moldova to the EU, the Kyiv Independent reports.
These clusters concern agriculture, the environment, and transport.
Representatives from Budapest declined to provide an explanation for their position.
The EU hopes to overcome Hungary’s veto in December.
