Donald Tusk refused to compromise with Polish President Karol Nawrocki in the conflict surrounding the Constitutional Tribunal.

In a video address on October 31st, the Prime Minister accused Nawrocki and his predecessor, Andrzej Duda, of "destroying the rule of law."

He criticized Nawrocki for entering the building of the Constitutional Tribunal, which was surrounded by police, on the night of October 31st.

"In a rule of law state, a politician cannot enter the territory of a court, issue orders, and intimidate judges, even if he is the president," Tusk emphasized.
