European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has called attacks on civilian vessels in the Black Sea unacceptable, Reuters reports.

According to her, the situation in the region is causing growing concern.
"Commercial vessels—and innocent crews—are being targeted, and lives have already been lost at sea," von der Leyen said.


Earlier, maritime drones attacked the Aframax Rio tanker in the Black Sea.
