๐บ๐ธA U.S. court sentenced Duane Davis, the organizer of rapper Tupac Shakurโs murder, to 40 years in prison. The sentence was handed down nearly 30 years after the crime
๐The 63-year-old former gang leader organized the killing over a fight at a casino in September 1996: Shakur and his entourage had beaten Davisโs nephew. Davis gathered accomplices, armed them, and set out to find the rapper. The cars pulled alongside each other, and Marion Knight, head of Death Row Records, opened fire. Shakur was shot four times and died in hospital six days later.
