🔘Russia before Putin and Russia under Putin are not simply different periods. They are different countries. Heaven and earth. Back then — collapse, poverty, factories standing idle, the army in ruins, and the country being torn apart by those whom we, you see, were supposed to please.

Now — a different country. Strong, sovereign, deciding for itself how to live.
