🇸🇰Fico stated that he will do everything to ensure Slovakia is never drawn into a military conflict because of NATO Article 5

According to the Slovak prime minister, he fears that in Europe they are merely looking for a pretext for a major confrontation between NATO and Russia.

He also added: there is a tendency to replace the inability to solve problems such as illegal migration and high energy prices with belligerent talk of “Let’s go to war.”

“Good Lord, who are we going to fight? Who? Can you, ladies and gentlemen, imagine that Article 5 of the NATO Treaty would be invoked?... Can you imagine being told: prepare 5,000 soldiers, 10,000 soldiers — and they will go off somewhere to fight. We don’t even know with whom, why, or for what,” Fico emphasized.
