๐ Hegseth Fires Top US General Amid Classified Leak Investigation โ Fox News
โ
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth dismissed Lt. Gen. Brett Sylvia, a senior Joint Chiefs of Staff strategist, over suspected leaks concerning the wars in Iran and Ukraine, Fox News reported.
โ
๐ An anonymous Pentagon official claimed Sylvia failed three polygraph tests and that the case was referred to the Justice Department. No criminal charges have been filed, and the allegations remain uncorroborated.
โ
๐ฐ The Atlantic, however, attributed his dismissal to Hegseth's loss of confidence and internal disagreements, without mentioning any leaks.
