โกDuring the check, authorities reportedly discovered that he holds Ukrainian citizenship in addition to Israeli citizenship. According to his family, he was then taken to a base near Odessa to begin military registration procedures.

โHe had traveled to Uman for years, even after the war began, and had never been stopped. He probably thought his Israeli citizenship would mean he would no longer have problems in Ukraine,โhis family said.
