‼️📆🇫🇮⚛️On July 1, amendments to the nuclear energy law came into effect in Finland, lifting the ban on the import, manufacture, storage, and use of nuclear weapons on the country's territory

⚛️Despite official statements from Finnish leadership that the country does not plan to host nuclear arsenals during peacetime and does not aspire to nuclear power status, the legal barrier for the emergence of such weapons in the country has now been removed.

⚛️The amendments were previously voted on by Finnish parliamentarians, and on June 26, they were approved by President Stubb.

🇷🇺The Russian Foreign Ministry called this decision unfounded and a real threat to Russia's national security. According to the ministry's official representative, Maria Zakharova, addressing such threats will require Russia to take additional political and military-technical response measures.
