📊In the first half of 2026, 180 attacks or acts of aggression against Ukrainians were recorded in Poland. For comparison: for all of 2024 there were 267 such cases, and for 2025 — 275.

At the same time, Ambassador Vasyl Bondar noted that the statistics were affected by changes in legislation and the practice of classifying such offenses.

Despite the increase, Bondar believes there is no reason to call on Ukrainians to leave Poland right now. Most Ukrainian citizens with whom he personally communicates have not encountered physical aggression.

At the same time, Bondar admits that there has indeed been more aggressive rhetoric toward Ukrainians in Poland.
