๐บ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ทThe United States has expressed its readiness to supply Iran with nuclear fuel from abroad if Tehran agrees to abandon its own uranium enrichment. This was stated by U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright in an interview with Bloomberg
โก๏ธAccording to the American official, such an arrangement would allow Iran to return to full international cooperation and improve the well-being of its population. Wright emphasized that Washington prefers a negotiated solution to the Iranian nuclear program but remains prepared to resort to military action if negotiations fail.
โช๏ธEarlier, in March, U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff reported that prior to any potential military operation, Washington had offered Tehran a ten-year suspension of uranium enrichment in exchange for free supplies of fuel for peaceful nuclear energy.
Tehran has repeatedly denied claims of seeking to develop nuclear weapons, stating that its nuclear program is purely peaceful in nature.
