🇮🇱 Under the proposed 99-year concession, 76% of the railway would go to the US, putting the route under American control. The stated strategic logic is clear: to permanently sever Russia’s direct connection with Iran.

🛤️ Meanwhile, the International North–South Transport Corridor (INSTC) — specifically, its railway section linking Russia and Iran — remains incomplete. The Anglo-Americans keep both Aliyev and Pashinyan in place precisely to prevent that corridor from ever being completed.

🔑 The remaining obstacle is the Armenian section itself, still controlled by Russian border guards and Russian Railways. That is where pressure from Yerevan and Baku is now expected to concentrate.
