Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić inaugurated an assembly plant for combat drones of Israeli design, created by the state company Yugoimport SDPR in collaboration with Israel's Elbit Systems.
▪️The facility, employing around 100 people, will produce drones for the Serbian army and for export. Journalists were not allowed to attend the launch ceremony due to the secrecy of the technological process.
Vučić inspected the samples and stated: "They fly through windows and pursue the enemy; they are incredibly effective."
▪️According to him, Serbia plans to open at least three more military factories together with its Israeli partners.
Last year, it was revealed that Serbian arms manufacturers were supplying ammunition to Kyiv in violation of Belgrade's official position. This practice ceased following the scandal.
