🔵Windows 11 Build 28120.3272 (Experimental (26H1)) trims visual clutter in Search. It also labels results more clearly, so users can tell whether a click opens an app, setting, file, web result, or Store offer. That should make everyday searching feel faster and less confusing.

The update adds Pointer Indicator for low vision users, which helps people spot the mouse cursor more easily. Microsoft also gives Live Captions a new option that blocks screen reader audio by default. In Privacy & Security, Camera, Microphone, and Location controls now sit in one place, so users can manage permissions without hunting through menus.

Family Safety now explains app blocks more clearly. Microsoft also fixed a crash issue tied to msmpeg2ac3dec.dll, which should help some games and apps run more smoothly.

🔵Windows 11 build 28020.3262, now rolling out to Beta channel Insiders in version 26H1, focuses on small but useful fixes. Microsoft says the update improves Family Safety messages when Parental Controls block an app because of age limits, making the warning clearer for everyday users. It also fixes a crash bug tied to msmpeg2ac3dec.dll, which had affected some apps and games in earlier builds.

🔵Windows 11 Build 26340.9750 brings several fixes and small quality of life upgrades for Insiders in the Experimental channel. The biggest change lands in Xbox Mode, where a refreshed Gaming Task View adds faster access to Exit to Desktop and power controls, so players can manage the PC without leaving the game flow. Microsoft also expands web sign in for hybrid joined Entra devices, letting users unlock Windows with a FIDO2 key, phone passkey, or Temporary Access Pass, then reach local and work resources through Kerberos.

Windows Hello now brightens the screen during face scans in dark rooms, File Explorer updates folders more reliably, and Search stops disappearing or freezing after install. Microsoft also improves the Run dialog, especially for Arabic and Hebrew users, while fixing text input and performance. Shutdowns should feel steadier too, and System notification dialogs (such as low battery warnings or system permission requests) are once again displayed in a modern design.

🔵Windows 11 Build 26220.9739 (Beta): The key change are Magnifier improvements, which now works better across multiple monitors, so users can keep different zoom levels on separate screens instead of one stretched view. Microsoft also refreshed Gaming Task View in Xbox Mode, adding faster access to Exit to Desktop and power controls, which makes in game system actions less awkward. Elsewhere, File Explorer search results now show file details in a cleaner, more consistent format, Family Safety gives clearer block messages, and shutdown reliability has improved. Settings also gets a broader rollout of the device info card.

🔵Windows 11 version 26H1 build 28000.3351 is out to Release Preview channel users. File Explorer gets safer and smarter preview handling for internet files, better thumbnail reliability, and it saves the state of sections (collapsed or expanded) Home layout. Windows also adds Emoji 17.0, a Tips widget, improved personalization tools, and more reliable Bluetooth audio and device behavior. Accessibility gets a helpful “Open apps maximized” setting, plus a refreshed Magnifier toolbar. Other changes include touchpad scrolling options, Copilot key remapping, photo gallery backup, font support for more writing systems, WinRE Wi Fi reuse, and better BitLocker and Remote Desktop reliability.
------
🔵Windows 11 Build 26200.9807 and 26300.9807 (Release Preview channel): File Explorer gets a cleaner, more customizable right click menu, better search result details, dark mode support for Folder Options, and a handy tilde shortcut for profile folders. Settings also becomes easier to navigate, while Magnifier gains new contrast and per monitor scaling options that should help users who need clearer visuals.

The update also pushes forward recovery and security. Windows Recovery Environment can now reuse saved Wi-Fi profiles, Cloud Rebuild can reinstall Windows from the cloud, and Memory Integrity protection may turn on automatically on more compatible PCs. Microsoft also improves Edge launch speed, IPv6 support, Live Captions, Narrator math reading, BitLocker handling, and Remote Desktop reliability.
