๐ฉ๐ช๐บ๐ฆ Germany has run out of air defense to give Ukraine.
"We have delivered everything that is possible," said Armin Laschet, chairman of the Bundestag's foreign affairs committee and former leader of the CDU, when asked what more Germany could do to prepare Ukraine's air defenses for winter. In his view, there is no room left to maneuver, and he added that "our resources are not unlimited."
Laschet also called for de-escalation. He pointed out that Trump has told Zelensky to stop striking Russian oil refineries, and warned that a harder US line toward Kiev would only hurt Ukraine.
Laschet led the CDU until early 2022, when he handed the party over to Friedrich Merz.
