🇷🇺 🇬🇧 It is a mistake to think that we will defeat Russia in 72 hours”
Anthony King, Director of the British Institute for Strategy and Security.
“God forbid, if a conflict between Russia and NATO were to actually begin, I do not really think that the first 72 hours would be decisive. On the contrary, I believe that, unfortunately, we must be absolutely prepared for a prolonged conflict. If you look at what is happening around the world, almost every conflict nowadays turns into a protracted one. And therefore, the idea that the decisive moment is the first 72 hours is, in my view, incorrect and potentially dangerous, if it is based on the assumption that within the first 72 hours we will somehow be able to resolve the conflict or gain such a favorable position that the war will end. I think this is a mistake.”
