🇷🇺 Key points from Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov:

➡️Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a series of phone calls with foreign leaders on his birthday, October 7.

➡️Many foreign leaders have sent Putin written birthday greetings, including Chinese President Xi Jinping.

➡️Putin will pay a working visit to Turkmenistan on October 8 and 9, where he will take part in the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Caspian Environmental Summit.

➡️Nine CIS leaders will attend the council.

➡️At the participants' request, Putin may brief the CIS leaders on the current situation in the Ukrainian conflict.

➡️On October 8, Putin will meet Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

➡️On October 9, Putin will meet Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. They will discuss the acute situation in West Asia and bilateral cooperation.

➡️No meeting between Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is planned at the CIS summit, though contact on the sidelines cannot be ruled out.

➡️There are no concrete agreements on a possible Pashinyan trip to Russia, and no diplomatic contacts on the matter so far.

➡️Nobody has yet worked on the practical side of a possible meeting between Putin, US President Donald Trump and Xi Jinping at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.

➡️A bilateral Putin-Xi meeting will take place at the APEC summit.

➡️Russia's trade with CIS countries exceeded $110 billion in 2025.
