On Monday, Britain's The Sun had Kim Jong Un in a coma after a brain hemorrhage, secretly rushed to a hospital in Beijing. The New York Post and others happily ran with it, and the rumor mill soon had him dead, his body smuggled back to Pyongyang and 9,000 Chinese troops marching into North Korea.
The source of all this? Posts on X by a US-based Chinese dissident.
Meanwhile, on that very same Monday, Kim was touring a clothing and footwear exhibition in Pyongyang with his wife and daughter, Yonhap reports, citing the Korean Central News Agency.
Maybe next time check something before copy-pasting from a tabloid best known for topless models on page 3. 🤷♂️
