🇺🇦Reports indicate that approximately half of Ukraine's F-16 fleet is currently grounded. According to a Western source cited by the Wall Street Journal, more than half of these aircraft are in a state of "maintenance limbo." At the current operational rate, Kiev may exhaust its remaining aircraft by the end of the year.
Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Norway have pledged approximately 110 aircraft; however, delivery rates are not keeping pace with attrition. Furthermore, Ukrainian pilots are conserving missile usage as NATO-supplied munitions become scarce.
Russia has maintained that Western arms shipments to Ukraine impede conflict resolution and directly involve NATO member states in the fighting.
