🇺🇦 Ukraine's Air Alert App Apparently Hacked: Kiev Residents Receive Fake Warnings of Street Fighting, Chemical Attack and Radiation
Screenshots shared by Ukrainian Telegram channels show the Air Alert app sending users in Kiev warnings of street fighting, a chemical attack and radiation danger at around 22:49 local time.
One minute earlier, a message written in Russian appeared in the app: "Hello! A nuclear alert will now sound across Ukraine! Don't worry, the Oreshnik is on its way!" It also included a link to a Telegram channel, which suggests a hack, and Ukrainian channels are saying the app was likely compromised.
