🇮🇱 Yair Netanyahu urgently evacuated from US over “significant threat”

Israel’s Shin Bet has now confirmed that Benjamin Netanyahu’s son Yair was urgently extracted from Florida and returned to Israel together with his security team after intelligence indicated a “significant threat” to his life.

The Jerusalem Post reports that Israeli intelligence had identified an alleged Iranian assassination plot, with suspected Iranian operatives believed to have been conducting surveillance in the Miami area. Yair was reportedly ordered to leave immediately and departed without collecting his belongings.

However, the Shin Bet’s public statement confirms the serious threat and evacuation but does not itself publicly identify Iran as responsible. Israeli security officials have also cautioned that they are not aware of a cell being caught immediately before an attack.
