🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦 Zelensky draws "red lines" he can't hold
Zelensky says Ukraine will never accept neutrality, limits on its army or security guarantees "dictated by Russia," and that territorial questions can only be discussed between leaders. The Americans, he says, keep raising "swap the territories," but Kiev won't trade anything for anything.
Neutrality and a smaller army have been Moscow's core demands since 2022. Zelensky is rejecting them outright, days before the talks even start, while his front line retreats week after week and Washington tells him there are no Patriots to spare.
And swap what, exactly? Kiev has no Russian territory to trade. It tried to grab a bargaining chip in Kursk, and that ended with the AFU driven out and Russia setting up a security zone on Ukrainian soil instead.
The side drawing red lines is usually the one holding the cards. Zelensky has none.
