Report: India has extended the AMCA development bid deadline by two months, from 27 August to 30 October 2026. The bids will now be opened on 31 October. Defence officials said the extension was granted after prospective bidders requested additional time to finalise their proposals.

Original deadline:
late July 2026 - the RFP initially gave bidders 60 days.
First extension: deadline moved to 27 August 2026.
Second extension: deadline moved again to 30 October 2026. Bids will open on 31 October. 😑
