◾The Bonus Army: After WWI and during the great depression thousands of dispossessed US veterans and their families stablished a temporary camp in Washington with the aim of pressure the government to pay them a fair compensation for the years served in the fronts of Europe defending their country.
The answer from the government, to send in the army to crush the protest with extreme violence.
