A wave of drone attacks caused massive travel chaos in Moscow between October 9–16.
To keep passengers safe from the incoming drones, aviation officials had to repeatedly shut down the city's airspace. This safety lockdown led to 747 canceled flights and 4,153 delays, leaving thousands of travelers stranded or diverted to other cities.
