According to reports, SBI began containment measures on October 16 after receiving cybersecurity alerts.
An initial investigation identified nearly 3,900 authentic customer records among approximately 375,000 data rows circulated by a threat actor known as βSiriusimβ
The exposed information reportedly includes personally identifiable customer data.
The full extent and source of the breach remain under investigation.
