The State Bank of India has won the Worldโ€™s Best Consumer Bank 2026 award from New York-based Global Finance Magazine.

This marks the bankโ€™s second consecutive year clinching this top global spot, alongside being named the Best Bank in India 2026.

The award was formally presented to SBI Chairman Challa Sreenivasulu Setty on 17 October 2026, during an awards ceremony held on the sidelines of the IMF Annual Meetings in Bangkok, Thailand.
