Coimbatore Girl Steals Gold to Buy Boyfriend a Bike

A 19-year-old college student, R. Joy Princy, was arrested in Coimbatore for allegedly stealing nine sovereigns of gold from her friend’s house.

Police said she sold the jewellery for around β‚Ή2.5 lakh and used the money to buy a new bike for her boyfriend, Janagan Siva, 20. He remains absconding.
