Coimbatore Girl Steals Gold to Buy Boyfriend a Bike
A 19-year-old college student, R. Joy Princy, was arrested in Coimbatore for allegedly stealing nine sovereigns of gold from her friend’s house.
Police said she sold the jewellery for around ₹2.5 lakh and used the money to buy a new bike for her boyfriend, Janagan Siva, 20. He remains absconding.
