🚨 HISTORIC: IPS officer Sanjukta Parashar becomes the first woman to head CRPF’s elite CoBRA unit.
The 2006-batch Assam-Meghalaya cadre officer has taken charge as Inspector General of CoBRA, the CRPF’s specialised jungle-warfare and counter-insurgency force.
Known for her field experience in insurgency-affected areas of Assam and her stint with the NIA, Parashar brings nearly two decades of policing and national-security experience to the role.
