Chief Counsel Ramzi Kassem represented Ahmed al-Darbi, an al-Qaeda operative convicted in the 2002 French tanker bombing and held at GITMO.

Al-Darbi’s sister married Khalid al-Mihdhar, one of the hijackers who flew into the Pentagon.
