The Delhi High Court has agreed to urgently hear a habeas corpus plea filed by Swatantra Bhardwaj, challenging his arrest in connection with the Jantar Mantar assault case.
The plea will be heard today, September 7, after being mentioned before Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya.
Bhardwaj was recently arrested by Delhi Police and is currently in judicial custody.
