Turkey’s main stock market fell by 7% in a single day, forcing officials to temporarily stop all trading.
The sudden crash happened because of growing political problems in the country, rising prices for everyday goods, and investors selling off their shares quickly and most importantly rising pressure from Saudi Arabia for Turkiye to honor the Mecca Pact.
