โSecurity built on the presence and intervention of extra-regional powers is fragile and dependent,โ he said.
Qalibaf pointed to emerging regional pacts and arrangements as signs of a shift toward Muslim neighbors relying on their own capabilities and cooperation rather than foreign powers. He said recent developments had shown that Muslim unity could make โthe enemy taste defeat,โ expressing hope for a new era of Islamic unity, independence, security and dignity.
