💢Is it just me or does a lot of the hype/fear about LLM's 'reaching the internet' seem quite contrived (unless we set it up that way)? Isn't this easily preventable just by having LLM's operate on an intranet independently from the internet? Isn't air-gapping a standard practice? Aren't local intranets primarily used? Firewalling? I understand the use of certain internet-connected tools. But still: Can't we just sandbox these and have proper human oversight?
I'm definitely not literate in this arena, just conversationally capable. Can someone with better knowledge help educate me? Is it just me?
