๐ข Lithuania will come under the crosshairs of Russian nuclear weapons if it hosts nuclear arms aimed at Russia, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
โIf nuclear weapons are deployed on [Lithuanian] territory and aimed at us, then the territory of that country will likewise be targeted by our nuclear weapons,โ Peskov told Russiaโs Channel One.
Lithuania is moving to amend Article 137 of its Constitution, which currently prohibits weapons of mass destruction on its territory. The amendment cleared a Seimas committee on September 9, with parliament planning final adoption this winter.
