💢 North Korea is experiencing an unlikely “outbreak of fun” under Kim Jong Un, with new malls, resorts and leisure facilities opening as the government encourages domestic consumption, Reuters reports.
Chinese customs data show imports of massage equipment have risen 40-fold over the past decade, while treadmill shipments jumped more than 600%. Pianos, bumper cars and other amusement equipment are also pouring in, alongside new beach and ski resorts across the country.
