In his view, if Iran possessed nuclear weapons, neither the US nor Israel would dare threaten to attack it — just as Washington would never have invaded Iraq or Libya had they possessed nuclear arsenals.
«I think there’s no question that a nuclear-armed Iran would bring stability to the region,» he added.
