💢 The Netherlands is seeking broader powers for its intelligence services to respond faster to cyber threats from Russia and China, Bloomberg reports. The proposed law would reduce bureaucratic hurdles that can slow intelligence operations.
“We are seeing an increase in large-scale cyberattacks by Russian or Chinese hackers,” Defense Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said, adding that adversaries are becoming increasingly sophisticated.
“With this law, we are sharpening our knife.”
