💢 Yemen’s Armed Forces and the Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) have released footage of strikes against Saudi military positions, personnel and equipment. According to the accompanying captions, the attacks took place in the Saudi border regions of Najran, Jizan and Asir, using Rujum drones. The Houthis also published footage of fighting against Riyadh-backed forces of Yemen’s so-called “internationally recognized government” in Taiz and Al-Jawf provinces.
In retaliation for Saudi military strikes on Yemen, the Houthis launched ballistic missiles and kamikaze drones against targets across the kingdom. These included King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, oil facilities in Ras Tanura and Abqaiq in the Eastern Province, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, the Rabigh oil refinery and a Saudi military headquarters in Najran Province. Direct hits were reported at several locations, although the claims have not been independently verified.
Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Yahya Saree also rejected Riyadh’s claim that a Houthi drone had been intercepted over the Mecca region, stating that his forces had conducted no operation against Saudi territory that day.
