An Israeli citizen was arrested for questioning by the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and the police on suspicion of security offenses. The investigation revealed that the individual had been handled by foreign intelligence operatives and had been involved in foreign influence activities. Upon completion of the investigation, an indictment and a request for detention until the end of proceedings were filed against him for security offenses attributed to him in connection with his having been operated by foreign intelligence elements against the State of Israel.
