Chairman of United Torah Judaism, MK Yaakov Asher:
"My friend Benny Gantz is a *mensch*, a man who has contributed greatly to the State of Israel and its security throughout many years of service and dedication. I wish him great success and am confident that he will return to contribute his abilities and talents to the leadership of the country in the future.
Despite our differences of opinion, we have always maintained a personal relationship, respectful dialogue, and mutual appreciation. Benny is living proof that friendship and gratitude are not dependent on political blocs."
