Even in the twisted minds of the rioters, the assault on the Solberg family’s home is a particularly despicable act.
Solberg was the only one who opposed the annulment of the law the previous time.
The last thing that can be said about him is that he is driven by hatred of the ultra-Orthodox. He is the only Supreme Court justice who has had two ultra-Orthodox individuals serve as his senior legal clerks for years.
There has never been anyone in the Supreme Court more sensitive to the ultra-Orthodox public than Justice Noam Solberg.
