Following the terrorist attack, Finance Minister and Minister in the Defense Ministry Bezalel Smotrich ordered the immediate demolition of a large number of illegally constructed Arab buildings adjacent to the site of the attack.
According to his aides, the order will be carried out within the next hour, with demolitions continuing throughout the afternoon until shortly before the start of Shabbat.
