Gadi Eisenkot answers a question about how he would prevent “Shiklis and Silmans” in his own party.
In his response, he takes a jab at Bennett and says he would institute an ethical code in the party stipulating that anyone who can no longer abide by the party’s path would be required to return their Knesset seat and resign (following Amit Segal’s report):
“Silman, Shikli, and their associates would not have been in my party. I think what Shikli and Silman did was disgraceful. We will have an ethical code requiring anyone who disagrees with the party’s path and wants to leave the party not to defect, but rather to return their Knesset seat.”
