IDF Spokesperson:
A short while ago, an initial report was received of gunfire directed at IDF forces operating in the Ramim Ridge area. The forces returned fire and neutralized a terrorist in the area. There were no casualties among our troops. The incident is still ongoing.
IDF forces continue to search the area, assisted by Air Force aircraft that were dispatched to the scene.
The IDF is in ongoing contact with local authorities.
