IDF Spokesperson:
A short while ago, troops from the 99th Division identified a sniper from the Hamas terrorist organization who posed an immediate threat near the Yellow Line area, where IDF troops are operating in the northern Gaza Strip.
Immediately following the identification, the troops fired at the sniper in order to eliminate the threat. A hit was confirmed.
IDF troops under the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to act to eliminate any immediate threat.
